This week we got to work for Cornerstone Christian Academy. We helped them with moving furniture, painting and a few other projects. It was really cool to interact with the teachers and staff, and it was really clear that they loved their students.

We also got to work at Cherrydale Nursing Home and we got to visit the patients and and residents. They loved the company and needed it too. We, in turn, loved visiting them.

We also got to walk downtown D.C. and talk to homeless people and other locals and tourists, just praying for them and listening to them and their needs. We offered snacks, socks and water which they eagerly took and were grateful for. The people we talked to seemed encouraged, even if they didn't want prayer and they definitely encouraged us. I really enjoyed the week and I'm very eager to see what God will do in these people.
