The week of July 21st was incredible and many would say, they would never forget it. Here's a short story from one of our participants who was impacted by one of the ministry outreaches:

So on my second day here in D.C. my group went to Chinatown to witness to the homeless. We had already talked to a lot of people and then had a conversation with a man named David Michael who was looking for water. He asked us, "Are you girls missionaries? You look like you are." We confirmed that we were. He told us how he had back-packed across the country from California. He told us some stories and we did too. As we said our goodbyes and walked away, he turned to us and said, "Galatians 5!"

When I got back that day to our housing I read Galatians 5 and it says in verses 22-23:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Earlier that morning we had talked about being all of those things. God spoke to me through that and it's a moment I will never forget. This trip has reassured me in my walk with God and He does speak to me in mysterious ways. Now I listen.
