Adventures in Missions to Washington DC?
What about going to play, discover, learn and grow in a classroom with these sweet preschool faces?
What about going to have a language and math dance party with these awesome 2nd graders, while educating them on multiplication, Jesus, and the sprinkler?
Or what about going so you can teach these precious children how to pray and then walk in the Father's love and grace alongside them?
These children attend a private Christian school in a very low income area of Washington DC. All of their teachers work incredibly long hours, in order to give these kids more opportunities in their future. Because this is a Christian private school, they receive no government funding, and rely on charitable donations. They more than look forward to our teams coming to help out the teachers, give some one on one attention to the students, organize storage rooms, and just offer a smiling face and helping hand to the entire school. You might think that you are there to make a difference and impact those students and teachers, however they will end up leaving a lasting impression on your heart.
